Projekto aprašymas

HESTIA is a transnational project that aims to create a shared understanding of a new, evolving new form of trafficking in human beings - through sham marriages, provide a precise definition of sham marriages as a form of human trafficking hitherto non-existent at the EU level, and initiate a comprehensive action for its prevention.
 
Activities of the project
  1. To provide a coherent basis containing the situation description for policy recommendations and needs' assessment as well as content information for multidisciplinary training materials on sham marriages in the context of human trafficking.
  2. To prepare a comprehensive report on human trafficking in the context of sham marriages in the partner countries and to provide policy recommendations at the national and EU level based on report findings. To plan the country-adjusted advocacy and dissemination activities.
  3. To prepare the training materials and implement pilot training of multidisciplinary specialist groups working with people vulnerable to human trafficking and involvement in sham marriages, strengthen the interdisciplinary cooperation.
  4. To disseminate the results of the project, targeting legislative and policy making level, specialists working with vulnerable groups and wider public. To promote shared understanding of sham marriages in relation to human trafficking.

    Mane, trijų mėnesių kūdikį, paliko mama... užaugau vaikų globos namuose... įstojau mokytis, tačiau studijoms labai trūko pinigų... pažįstamas vaikinas pasiūlė vasarą išvažiuoti į Ispaniją padirbėti, sakė reikės skinti apelsinus, darbas nesunkus ir užsidirbsiu pinigų studijoms...kai atvažiavome, man pasakė, jog pamirščiau apelsinus - turėsiu dirbti prostitute... buvau parduota... verkiau, nesutikau... tada mane mušdavo, daužydavo, pririšdavo prie lovos ir prievartaudavo...

    Gyvenau kaime su mama, jos sugyventiniu ir broliais... trylikos metų mane išprievartavo patėvis... pasakiau mamai, bet ji manimi netikėjo... man buvo labai skaudu... po trijų metų išvažiavau mokytis siuvėjos specialybės, susiradau draugę... ji pasiūlė važiuoti pailsėti į Vokietiją... apsidžiaugiau, nes niekada nebuvau užsienyje... Vokietijoje mane uždarė į kambarį ir pasakė, jog vakare ateis vyras ir turėsiu viską daryti, ko jis norės... aš verkiau ir galvojau, jog noriu mirti... ašaros nepadėjo, turėjau tapti prostitute...
